This live, online training will lay out the unique stages of Somatic Experiential Play Therapy, as well as highlight the types of responses that are most helpful in each stage. This will help equip you, the therapist, to understand how to best support and challenge the nervous systems of children in the playroom based on what their capacity is at each unique stage of therapy.

What you can expect to learn:
1) Name the 5 stages of Somatic Experiential Play Therapy
2) Identify at least 2 characteristics of play found in each stage of Somatic Experiential Play Therapy
3) Articulate and name the 4 main types of responses used in Somatic Experiential Play Therapy
4) Explain how Somatic Experiential Play Therapy supports a child's nervous system through play
